Carpinteria  State Beach

    We meet at the Chatsworth Amtrak Train Depot.  We escape
    from the heat of the valley by hopping on board the Pacific
    Surfliner for a ride up to Carpinteria State Beach located in
    Santa Barbara County.  The beach is one very short block from
    the station.  You can bring lunch or your can purchase lunch at
    the Spot, a nice burger place next to the beach. Price on tour
    page for day trip does not include lunch.  We recommend
    $10.00 if you are buying.  All aboard.
